Brain Injury Affects Millions More Worldwide
Worldwide, there are millions and millions more people who are affected by brain injury.
There are also definitely a lot of people who may not have gotten a diagnosis right away and didn’t make it into the statistics, but are definitely living with brain injury. It is hard to get an accurate reading on the widespread impact of this invisible injury.
Brain Injury Related Disability
At least 5.3 million Americans live with a TBI related disability. That’s one in every 60 people.

This invisible injury is more widespread than most people realize. Because you can’t see it, it’s hard to know who is actually living with it. That’s one of the reasons we need to work so hard to bring awareness!
